2010 Economic Education Conference

We are pleased to inform you that the Council for Economic Education/National Association of Economic Educations/Global Association of Teachers of Economics Annual conference will be held October 6-9, 2010 at the Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel & Marina in Miami, Florida. The Council for Economic Education will be hosting next year’s conference.

The registration fee for K-12 GATE teachers and administrators is $100 and the Marriott special conference rate will be $95/night. Request for Proposals to present a session can be submitted here.

  • The latest in program, curriculum development, teaching resources, research and evaluation and technology for teaching economics, personal finance and entrepreneurship education.

  • Networking opportunities for K-12 teachers and university-level economic educators.

  • K-12 Teacher Professional Development – Continuing Education Credits
  • 2-hour intensive workshops for elementary, middle and high school teachers using the newest teaching resources and programs from the Council for Economic Education. The Council will provide attendees with certificates of completion for their participation in the conference and attendance at workshops.
